I'm always CCing whenever I can, as long as there are no "no guns", signs.

They didnt wand me, I had a see through bag in a stroller, that they didnt even wand.

Resurrecting this thread with an update on the Philly Zoo. They now use "Evolv Technology" scanning, per their website: https://www.philadelphiazoo.org/zoo-safety-etiquette/

Went to the zoo last week for the first time in about a decade. The Evolv scanner was in use at the first gate, before you get to the ticketing entrance. Two personnel watched monitors as we walked through. I did not CC, but wouldn't want to test their system. It looks legit and I'm trying to avoid being flagged and giving someone the opportunity to follow me back to the car to steal the CC if I have to leave it.

Inside the zoo it looks and feels very safe, but unfortunately the area just outside the fence is still West Philly. I'd feel much better taking the family to the Zoo if the parking garage access was inside the zoo compound and didn't require the short walk around the corner.

The price of admission is high as Hell and they hardly have any animals anymore anyhow.

based on what i read it sounds like this system could be easily defeated by something like the ideal conceal. granted its only 2 rounds but since its shaped like a phone the AI will ignore it. the folding glocks that were around years ago would probably also bypass it.

Annual membership is around $85 for 2 people and includes free parking. So if you go at least twice a year, its not too bad. Plus you get other benefits.
