I went to Temple for college. I walked through North Philly every day. Doesn't mean I won't ever carry a gun on me now when I have to go through North Philly.

It's certainly interesting,I live in the city and most times I don't carry when I go out and about.

Not quite as much as the negativism is.

Been there a few times before I was 21, so I wasn't carrying either.

I went to Penn, so I know W. Philly, and I never carried when I was a student going there. I also have never had my house burn down, but I still carry home owner's insurance. I saw enough crap in W. Philly as a younger person to know this older person doesn't need to be cornered with no options.

Not quite sure where that was coming from but it definitely comes off as trollish. Why bother getting a ltcf if you aren't going to carry a gun? Do you think carrying is wrong or did someone piss in your bran flakes?
    Some people just plain suck.

Smoking NAZI, I guess. The kind that ignores an inconvenient example such as me, who smoked 3 packs a day for years, seldom missed a day of work, and approaching 80. But then I'm crazy. I ride a motorcycle and used to fly.

Philadelphia is a dangerous place; however, the major tourist attractions and immediate viscinities are well patrolled by LE. Just imagine what "Zoo plagued by muggings" in the media would do to the hospitality industry in Philadelphia. I've felt safe in and around the zoo, since I was 7... other areas not so much.

Just differing opinions between us, but I respect your opinion nevertheless.

    And you should quit smoking...
