Last minute openings for Utah class in Harrisburg.
Future class for Utah CCW, held in Bucks county.
Cost will vary some, depending on what all is included.Last edited by gnbrotz; September 4th, 2008 at 05:50 AM.

Dont forget that if you have a DD214 or Hunter Safety Course certificate/card - it works just the same for FL's(and VA's) CWP.

Utah Permit class this Friday in Harrisburg, PA
Greg, thanks for mentioning the thread I started earlier today.
glockman22, if you happen to be available this Friday Sept 5th and can travel to Harrisburg and successfully complete the course, you can have your Utah certification and fingerprints for the PAFOA discount ($65).
I'm guessing Harrisburg is a 45 - 55 minute drive for you.
Review the thread in the CC / OC forum titled:

Re: Florida non resident gun licenses? york pa
An alternative is taking a basic course from an NRA instructor for FL's permit... or having an NRA instructor write a letter verifying that he/she has witnessed your safe gun handling abilities.

Since BCI's class is not convenient for you. I thought I would mention the following below
http://www.pafoa.org/forum/concealed...-co-again.html
we are hosting a Utah class on 18, October 2008.
We do the range portion also even though the range portion is optional. The Utah instructor we utilize insists on the range portion also.

Re: Florida non resident gun licenses? york pa
Sorry, I'm with them now, location changed to Virginia.
They're a fun bunch (all newly hired gals 22 - 30 yrs old).
They brought a bunch of little bottles with them to celebrate afterwards
I'll be wrapping up here around 630 or 700 pm and driving to Harrisburg, so I wont have forums / email access again til 100 am or so.
Class is set for 12 noon tomorrow. Still 2 slots open at $65 for PAFOA folks.
PS - GBrown's class got rave reviews last time, he's arranging something in Bucks County again in October with a different instructor. I believe the cost is $140 but includes range time.
