I just joined this range and I love it. Only $125 for the year and you can bring your own ammo and targets. I've also never seen the BS I've experienced at other ranges.

$125 is cheap by today's standards. Steve is a nice guy and has much knowledge and experience. Off the wall personality like most former bomb squad members, but nonetheless a nice person. The only drawback is that he does not rent guns. Bring your own, or forget it. At least that was his policy last April.

Pistol People is like stepping back in time. Back to a time when shooting was a lay-back enjoyable endeavor before all the more-is-better experts made things a frenetic frantic fear-ridden hope to survive. I lived in the 50s into adulthood. Pistol People feels like those good old days. Speaking of which, dress warm on cold days. Steve is a good person. You just have to figure him out for yourself. Appreciating dry humor or learning to do so puts one ahead on the game.

Do they accept steel case ammo? Or do you know any places accept steel case in the area ?

Can't shoot steel, they have a big sign up restricting it. Maybe Delaware Valley?

Funny you mentioned steel cased ammo. Steve had a sign up at his range a while back prohibiting Wolf ammo. Apparently people were using different brands of the product. I wish I was a mouse in the corner when he realized the omission. Knowing how volatile Steve is, half of Bensalem probably heard him hollering at the shooter of this type of ammo by a different manufacturer.

Have been going to Pistol People for years.
Love the place and Steve is a good guy, great instructor, all little rough around the edges, but so am I.
It's like the barbershop in "Grand Torino".
