Dependable Shop in Wilkes-Barre area

I am in the process of moving to Wilkes-Barre and need a good, reasonable and dependable place to purchase the things I need for my guns.

Any advice would be appreciated.

I use Weavers in Brodheadsville, shouldn't be too far from Wilkes Barre. Prices are good, he'll do a transfer for you any time, and what he doesn't have he can get. Ask for Phil.

Explain "things", stuff for reloading, cleaning.......ammo, mags, etc?

I do most of my business at J&S Sporting Goods on Wilkes-Barre Twp Blvd, across from Applebee's. I've been doing business with the brothers who own the store for years.

D&R is in Nanticoke (south of WB by about 4-5 miles) but I usually only buy powder or the like from them if J&S is out for some reason.

Just outside Nanticoke in the town of Alden is Piestrak's. Never been there but alot of people seem to give it a thumbs up.

Piestraks in Nanticoke and Daves Guns in Drums are two of the best in the area.....best period actually as both have very good "walk in customer" prices. D&Rs in Nanticoke is also good (more so for new guns @ D&Rs). There are a bunch of others that a worth a visit during the weekend "galavattin" too. Shoot me a PM when you move up Johnny and I'll take you on a "Gun Shop tour".
