    I always thought the top 1/3rd of the state looked more like a severely transitioned M1-Carbine 30-round mag.

    FWIW, most GI's didn't like those mags because they had trouble feeding...

    You mean it looks like a high ammunition, magazine clip, that holds a lot of bullets, but is thrown away because you can only use it once, right?
