    Default M&P M 2.0

I never paid much attention to the M&P line. I've heard good and bad. I was never a big fan of S&W. Starting back in the 90s

What's your opinion? I'm highly interested

    Honestly? Meh.

It's kinda like the XD Mod 2's. There's nothing different functionally, just a different looks.

The smith is fine, highly customizable, but never really shot well for me (I had a M&P9 and M&P40). This seems to be the trend. Some love them, some just can't get them to perform for a target gun. They are reliable, and fine guns. Just not my cup of tea.

If looking into strikers, I'd be more interested in the CZ P10 that's coming out this year.
I'm only here for the wood c-rings.

I bought the M&P 9 a few years ago because it felt great in the store. At the range it performed flawlessly despite a gritty (among other things) trigger.

Later bought a CZ 75 B and found it shot rings around - or rather inside - the M&P9. It didn't feel as slick in the hand, but it too performed flawlessly.

Later bought a CZ 75 P-01. It too performs flawlessly and shoots like a CZ. And feels even better in my hand than the M&P9.

The M&P9 is now a nightstand firearm. The CZs go to the range.

So, yeah, I agree with ianb1116.

ETA: Obviously, no experience with the M&P9 2.0

The frame is supposed to be more rigid with a metal insert or something.

Yes I saw that. I've no experience with M&P. I decided on Glock years ago after 20+ of 1911s.
Honestly I just like the way it looks

I liked the ergonomics of the m&p but never liked the trigger. If they worked on that I would love to give it a go

The sotck triggers on the 1.0 are awful. I have a M&P9c that I carry daily and I love it but the trigger is God awful. The m2.0 has a the Pro series trigger which is suppose to be awesome

No experience with 2.0, but I own an M&P 40 that I shoot very well (in spite of the gritty trigger). I also purchased a S&W 9mm barrel to drop in and some 9mm mags. To date I've put 200 rounds of 9mm through the conversion with not one hiccup yet. I've thought of selling it a few times, but I really like the simple back and forth I can have between .40 & 9mm
