GRoPA moving day: Sat. 09/13/08 @ 9am

I want to thank every one who has offered to help out on the day of my move. I really appreciate all the friendship, support and help.

I wanted to have a thread to try to keep everything somewhat organized. The date and time are in the header. A friend of mine has a box truck he will try to drop off a couple days a head of time so I can have a lot of it packed for moving day. There will be a couple big/heavy items so anyone who is willing to bring a pick-up is more than welcome to. Also any packing blankets or straps would be helpful to bring along also

I plan to get the FFL up and running at the new place so I will be giving addiction cards (when we find where I packed them) to those who help with the move.

I will also get the grill put together and have hot dogs going and there may be some other food as well. I will the following beer: Kostritzer, Guiness & Miller Lite. If there are any NA requests please let me know.

Also, for a fun spin on things, there is one box with an item in it, and there are clues to what the item is on the box. If you guess what is in it you get an extra adiction card.

I can't tell yinz how much all the help means to me. If you guys need my help just call. Thank you.

Now let's git to da "GRoPA Cabanna"!

I don't know what "big, heavy stuff" you have, but I have a cap on my truck, so keep that in mind. (tall stuffs like refrigerators, 'n such won't fit)

I will be there with my truck as well. No cap on mine, so tall things can fit if needed. I will also bring my padded moving blankets and some ratchet straps.

Gropa, I have a pickup, an a "dolly" to help move big things around and boxes. I work on Saturday, but Vicky could possibly be there to help with small stuff if you have a driver, she is not too good at backing up...

Let me know a bit ahead of time so I can make plans. Vicky is off that day but I work, I just need to clean out the box, having a toneau is great for hiding junk!

I already asked her and she would be willing to go so you could use the truck and dolly. also have 4 straps for the pickup.

I'll bring the cartruck(trailblazer)relatively empty(I'll be in it).

I have a 2 wheel dolly (not an appliance dolly).

Did Roland say this was at 6 AM? (just like another day on the job) J/K. 9AM it is.

I may have some odd ball blankets, rope, a small 4 whl dolly,kinda like a furniture dolly, targets, target stands, a couple AR's, Glocks of course, 9mm .40, OH Oh, I may have dicked up my list somehow.
