T/C Contender SBR
Let me start by saying that I know very little about NFA-type guns, suppressors, etc. and the laws regarding such items.
While perusing GunBroker.com I happened upon a listing for a Contender with a barrel and scope. No big deal. But when I scrolled through the pictures it shows a Contender with a 14 inch barrel and a buttstock attached. There is nothing in the description about it being a "short-barreled rifle" or anything like that.
I sent a message to the seller and also to GunBroker support about this but haven't heard anything back from either of them. It's been more than 24 hours.
Am I wrong in thinking that the seller could get into some serious trouble over this?

Yup, has to have 16" barrel with the buttstock. It's an SBR as configured.

It's illegal to even own the stock without having a 16" barrel to go with it, constructive possession.
