Federal judges from either party may not want to establish such precedent to erase any personal financial responsibility in challenging election results. Consider the Supreme Court with their 4 judicial activists helped strike down an Obama executive order which went contrary to legislated law. Precedent can be more of a consideration in this whole matter that satisfying an irrelevant green party candidate. There is no civil right to challenge a an election result beyond time limitations and without any evidence of voting machine malfunction or tampering with results, a element established by state law. The latter has not been established even by the Stein legal team.
