Thanks and yes... yes you DO want one.

My only regret is not building it as a pistol with a Shockwave Blade.
The simple (although not exactly affordable) solution to that is to build BOTH!

A 9mm SBR would be perfect, but I'm not interested in going that route out of principle.

There's no forward assist on that upper. Fail.

Thanks. It's more or less a "fun" gun, so I figured I'd try something different.
I want to install a red anodized ambidextrous safety at some point as well.
It's hard to justify $40-$80 for a red safety selector though, so it may be a while.

Yeah and it's missing a pet hair cover too.

A dust cover I can live without. I could really use a pet hair cover though.

I'd actually love a multi-cal sbr'ed lower and have the option to toss a short 9mm upper on...if that's even legal....need to figure it out

A normal SBR lower is legal to swap different caliber uppers on. You register it as one caliber and swap uppers at your will.

Before you dive in, here's an exhaustive list of parts that you will need that are 9mm specific.

    9mm Barrel
    9mm Bolt
    9mm Buffer
9mm Mag adapter - unless you use a dedicated 9mm lower

    LOL that's it.

    Everything else is standard AR15.

    First, nice build.

Second, have you had any issues with the trigger and/or hammer pin(s) walking out on you? I did a 9mm AR building with a Quarter Circle 10 lower (Glock mags) and the pins would occasionally walk out on me. I ended up getting the KNS Anti Walk Pins from MidwayUSA. Just curious if you had the same issue or not.
