    Default original USGI cotton canvas

I have several articles of original USGI (surplus) cotton canvas from decades ago. Some small (cubic inch) combat packs, pistol belts and suspenders, etc.

Don't see much of the original stuff for sale anywhere, even at the typical "army/navy" surplus stores.

Is this stuff now considered "collectible"?

    Thanks.

There's still a pretty good supply of most of this stuff online, not to mention newly made repro versions. There's a guy at one of the shows I attend who has a giant case of unissued M1936 suspenders that he's been slowly selling for years. Web belts and mag pouches are readily available too. Seems like unless what you have is by a rarer maker or maybe stone mint, value will be a little limited.

Put some pictures up, I may be interested.

A lot of stuff you see at "surplus" stores these days isn't even surplus- a good deal of it is Chinese manufactured knock offs. There's always a market for the original stuff depending on what condition it is in.
