    Default Service Pack 3

Alright you more computer savvy people, what's the scoop on this one? Is it something that needs to be done like Service Pack 2? Or is it more like the way Microsoft has been going as of late (which is like Feinstine at a gun show).

I downloaded SP3 on my Dell puter when I first got it and had NOTHING but problems... ended up wiping out the hard drive and starting over... and after contacting DELL it seems that some of their computers using the AMD processor doesnt like SP3.... so I am sticking with SP2 and checking out the other updates for it and NOT going to use SP3 .... JUST MY OPINION......

I downloaded it earlier in the week. After it was done I found mozzila thunderbird gone.

Noah's 1st Rule of Microsoft Updates:

Keep Automatic Update shut off, and never download a MS OS Service Pack for at least two or three months after its release.

The first vehicles normally on the scene of a crime are ambulances and police cruisers. If you are armed you have a chance to decide who gets transported in which vehicle, if you are not armed then that decision is made for you.

Be prepared, because someone else already is and no one knows their intent except them.

If I recall correctly, SP3 is nothing more than all the patches up to the date of the release of SP3 and not much more. So if you had maintained your updates up to that point SP3 doesn't do much for you. I have deployed it to dozens of PC's with no issues.
    Toujours prêt
