Reloading Component Deals Thread
I think we really need this thread. Prices on components are killing me.
Monmouth Reloading website has .224 55gr Hornady FMJ projectiles with cannalure for $70/1000. 2000 was $7.95 shipping so under $150 shipped.
I hear the best price on primers right now is the Sellior and Belliot stuff from Cabelas, Field & Stream, and some online retailers such as Powder Valley. They generate a larger SD in your loads when chrono'd but they are acceptable for blasting ammo or USPSA ammo.
Use code "TRIANGLE" to save 5% on all orders from Blue Bullets, courtesy of the Triangle Tactical podcast, which is worth a listen every week. I use their 125gr 9mm bullets for USPSA in my factory Glock barrel with good result.
Xtreme bullets emails out deals on certain projectiles and shipping constantly so sign up for their emails. In America arms are free merchandise such that anyone who has the capital may make their houses into armories and their gardens into parks of artillery. - Ira Allen, 1796

Re: Reloading Component Deals Thread
I have purchased some projectiles from here: https://www.americanreloading.com/en/
They are demilitarized components but at a decent price. So far I've only purchased some 45acp projectiles but they all look great.

I actually purchased from them back when they had more inventory before the SS109 scare. I bought 55 gr FMJ pulls from them and was happy with them.

Re: Reloading Component Deals Thread
Everything seems to go fairly quick from their site. I'm just getting started reloading so I don't need a lot right now. Just figuring it all out and moving slowly.

Re: Reloading Component Deals Thread
I'm trying to get a bunch before elections, because historically things will all dry up.

Re: Reloading Component Deals Thread
I get some stuff from http://www.bullets.com/home
Their Hazmat is only $20.00 & I want to say a flat rate shipping of $9.95
They seem to lack a lot of Hornady stuff, but Powder selection has been good"It seems that the Constitution is more or less guidelines than actual rules"

Re: Reloading Component Deals Thread
Yes I think this deserves it's own thread. I reload cheaply because I buy in bulk and ferret out the deals.
Handloader magazine had an article this month on the Sellier and Bellot primers and some testing was involved. As I recall they were very competitive in performance. I picked up a few thousand at Cabelas for $25 a brick. I should probably get more.
