Gun Store Story
I went to the indoor range today. After shooting I was talking to the owner, his daughter, and two other people. The owner told us of what happened either in the week.
He said he watched these 2 people get out of a newer Volvo and entered his store. The couple asked him if he sold a Glock 40. He asked them what specifically they liked about it. They then asked if he heard about the 2 little girls who were killed in Oklahoma (I think) with a Glock 40. He realized he didn't like where this was going and told them that the gun didn't kill anyone, that a person with a gun did. Continued with saying the same could have been done with a baseball bat, tennis racket, or even your bare hands. After that the couple turned and left. He went online to find the article and found it, here one of the girls was shot in each leg, each arm, once in the crotch and once in the head with what the police say was a Glock 40S&W. The other they weren't sure of yet.
Now something like that was personal, sadistic, and just sick. There was no reason for that couple to enter his business and try to get him to say he sells Glocks in 40S&W, so they could go around town telling people he sells guns that kill children. Some people just don't get it.
Here's the article I came across.

Re: Gun Store Story
It is a tragedy that lives were taken and at such a young age.
It is clear to me that the people who entered the gun shop have no idea whatsoever.

Re: Gun Store Story
truly a terrible situation indeed. I am very deeply saddened by this tragedy. But here is my question, how do they know it was a Glock?

Re: Gun Store Story
I'd have just asked them how many people they think have been killed by Volvos.
Any mission, any conditions, any foe at any range.
Twice the mayhem, triple the force.
Ten times the action, total hardcore.

Re: Gun Store Story
So, that guy is a bad guy for selling a gun but they don't care that some sicko shot some girls in the knees?
People in this world make me want to bang my head against a wall.

Re: Gun Store Story
I'm continually amazed at how people can actually lay blame on a crime to an inanimate object. I just don't understand how people can actually think that way...Are they actually so stupid as to believe that non-living things can suddenly spring to life and take a cognizant course of action to kill? I mean thats ludicrous!
More likely these people are just too deep into denial to admit that human beings can be so cruel!
