Default Jonestown Fish & Game Autumn Block Shoot

It's that time of year again, our Autumn block shoot is coming up soon.
We will be shooting for many prizes including Meat trays, (good selection of beef), bacon trays, hams money and this time, thinking of Thanksgiving we will have a few turkeys on the prize list.
The date is Sunday, November 6, 2016. (Easy to remember, it's the day we revert back to Standard time). That gives you an extra hour of sleep, (or recovery / wake up time). We've been getting people coming in from a good distance away and having a really good time with a vow to return for more of our activities.
(I'm sure one or more of those people will chime in soon enough).
The rules are simple, use your own gun, we supply the ammo. It's $3.00 per shot for all but the turkeys which are usually $2.00 per shot.
Maximum barrel length is 30", including choke tubes and / or any other devices attached to the muzzle. Minimum choke diameter is .682", (which allows the tightest commercially available choke tube but does not allow some of the custom made barrels and chokes that would give some people a clear advantage). No optics, such as scopes, red dots or other optic sighting devices. (A fiber optic bead on the muzzle end of the barrel is OK, as that is the equivalent of an open sight).
The event is open to the public, you do not need to be a member of the club to participate. (You don't even have to live in the area). It's open to women, men and well behaved children who are capable of safely handling a 12 gauge shotgun firing light target loads.
Here is a photo of a young man a few shoots ago who left as a very happy participant. He was proud, (and so were his parents). He won the final "money shoot": (Photo used with permission of the subject and his parents).

We keep it as fair as we can with our simple rules. Anyone can win, even a kid using a hand-me-down shotgun that isn't an expensive custom made. high dollar piece specifically designed for winning competitions.
Our doors open at noon, the fun starts at 1:00. There is a gun show promoted by Eagle Arms at the Lebanon County Expo Center at 80 Rocherty Road that day. It starts at 9:00am. You have time to go to the show and browse for a few hours and still have time to enjoy the rest of the day at the block shoot. We start at 1:00 and usually finish somewhere around 4:00 - 5:00. (Don't spend ALL of your money at the gun show, save enough so you can participate and try to win one of our delicious prizes).
If you are already a member, you can renew your membership at this event, (Nick, bender). If you are not a member and would like to join, we do have memberships available and all the information you need, (including applications), will be available then.
We also have activities for non-shooters and kids so they aren't bored while you are competing to win a few meals worth of good protein.
We Have Yahtzee, (which seems to be very popular), as well as other board and table games to keep the non-shooters content while socializing to pass their time while you are shooting).
There will be food and drink available for very reasonable prices.

The address is 2222 Kenbrook Road, Lebanon, Pa. 17046
Just a few miles north of Lebanon on N. 12th St, (Sand Hill Road /Jonestown Road), then right (east), on Quarry Road to Kenbrook road. Turn Right on Kenbrook road and we're the second driveway on the left.

I don't have a short temper, I just have a quick reaction to bullshit.
