Mag's for IWI Magnum research DE9?

I have one of the original IWI DE9 pistols produced my Magnum research and I am having issues trying to find affordable magazines. I know the mags were made by Mecgar just like the CZ mags are however I do not know if they are interchangeable and if they are with which CZ type mag since most have small differences.

The DE9 mags are supposed to be 15 rounds even though I can easily get 17 rounds in both of them. I found OEM mags on line however they are made with a different plastic base plate and sell for over $30.00 each as compared to Mecgar which are about $20.00 ea.

Since the Magnum research DE9 was not all that popular of a pistol my searches are turning up with no real useful info.

It would also be great to find an after market FO replacement for the FS.

I think that's just a re-branded IWI Jericho 941. Any mags that work in the 941 should work in that.

I was pretty sure the CZ mags worked, but not sure enough to say they did.

I got factory Baby Eagle II mags for the wife's Sar B6 compact, which will take CZ mags, but they extend way past the grip. I suspect that CZ compact ones might work but never tried.

They are a tiny bit tight but fit the funky stepped magwell.

Some light sanding with 1000 grit on top of the baseplate, and they fit better than the factory ones.

A friend of mine on another forum confirmed that the 17 round 75B round mags should work.

I can get a standard CZ75 round mag to lock in but the slide will only lock open 40% of the time when hand cycling. It's a bit shorter then the OEM DE mag so I'm assuming the 17 round B mag will be a bit longer and do the job.

There used to be a CZ Clone magazine compatibility list on one of the CZ forums.

I thought the IWI guns were mechanically closer to the Tanfoglio "Witness" design? You may have luck with Witness mags ("Standard" Not the newer "Full Size").

Greg Cotellc.com shows the compatibility for each CZ mag so happens that I ordered to the correct ones as shown here.
