Is this legal?
I'm not really sure if this would be necessarily illegal, but here's the situation. My dad is trying to purchase a firearm online, but doesn't have a credit card. If I use my credit card to pay for it, and he gives me the cash, and when the gun arrives at the FFL he is the one that fills out the background check, etc, is that legal?
I don't think it falls under a straw purchase or anything like that, but I just want to be sure.
Thanks in advance.

Re: Is this legal?
Any big box store, grocery store, sheetz, etc sells prepaid credit cards. All he has to do is put enough on to cover the cost of the firearm.

It's a shame that we even need to ask questions like this.

Doesn't matter where the money comes from, as long as hes filling out the forms to own it.

Pretty sure the company that you are buying it from accepts money orders.
