Ordering ammo online
What's the deal with buying and shipping ammo via the Internet in PA?

Pretty much like buying a pair of underwear from Amazon.

Re: Ordering ammo online
Be more specific.
Do you mean buying from an online vendor?
Do you mean buying/selling from private individuals?
Buying from a vendor is simple.
Order what you want and you get it.
Some vendors require a one-time proof of age/ID. I think AIM does this. YEARS ago I faxed a copy of my driver's license.
They keep it on file and when I order, it just goes through without any other steps needed.
Some require a signature on delivery.
I don't buy a lot of ammo online. Maybe 4 cases ever. I've added several boxes of ammo to my cart when buying other accessories on many occasions and I don't recall any unusual steps I needed to take.I called to check my ZIP CODE!....DY-NO-MITE!!!

Put it in your cart, checkout, wait for it to show up at your door.
I bought some bulk ammo online once, but since then I found that unless a dealer is offering a great price and free shipping, I could find what I wanted cheaper at a gun show.

Re: Ordering ammo online
Your question is a little vague.
Legally one can buy ammo via the Internet in PA. As mentioned, some dealers require a one time proof of age. Some also require a signature upon delivery. All of that info will be in the FAQ section of their website.
Always be aware of the final cost (shipping charges) before finalizing your order.
Depending upon where you would have it shipped to it might not be a good idea. I wouldn't want to have a few cases of ammo ripped off by a bad guy.
I have bought lots of ammo via the net, though. My Feedback - http://forum.pafoa.org/showthread.ph...ight=stainless

Re: Ordering ammo online
I'm just talking about ordering, paying, and having it shipped to my house. Obviously from your posts it is allowed. I saw on the one website selling ammo, you must check and ensure that regulations allow you to do so.
