University Rifle Club Tactical Shoots

University Rifle Club runs Tactical/3 gun and Action type shoots. Steel Challenge .22.

The Club located at 55 Shoffers Road Reading PA. Located just East of Mt. Penn between Rt 422 and 562. The club has been improving and expanding the range facilities for the past few years. The currently the range has steel out to 400+ yards with 600 yards lanes being cleared early this fall.

The program runs Combat shoots every other month featuring steel, moving targets, tactical situations designed to stress the shooters.

The August shoot featured a "Charging Running man" target, steel out to 200 yards off a roof top, a run the a "mine field" a shoot out at "Ron's Bar and Grill" and then moving targets at 300 yards.

$30.00 for the fee which included lunch of burgers and dogs!!

That's great news - Heidelberg is a great shoot but the distance is a bummer, it'd be great to also have a closer event to go to.

What date is the next shoot? Do you have a full calendar I can consult and add the dates to my personal calendar?

Hope to see you at the Sept shoot I think we are going to try a ChiCom theme then but it will also be open to regular guns like ARs

Yes that's our Tactical Action shoots Sept will be a Tactical/Combat shoot usually rifle, pistol and shotgun employed in various combos or single system stages.
