    Default Hopeful note for the next generation - For VA at least

    I was down in Richmond, VA last weekend and took my Niece to her new college campus at VCU Monroe Park (Virginia Commonwealth University.) On the Student Center bulletin board, with the official stamp of approval, was a notice for a NRA pistol/CC permit prep course. I was glad and somewhat surprised to see that responsible firearms carry information was not being censored on campus post VA-Tech. [Edit: I do not believe that the course was university offered nor sponsored. Still good nonetheless.]

    I have read at OCDO about some people OCing at VA Tech's campus and not getting into any problems. They were not students, faculty, or other employees of the school though.
