I've been using the 5.11 Tactical Range Ready bag for the past 10 years or so.

Yes, what do you want to carry in it? I use the Voodoo Tactical Scorpion bag. It's smaller than most. It's good for a couple of pistols with mags, a few boxes of ammo, eyes & ears, a bottle of oil and a few small tools, a roll of masking tape, staples and stapler, and not much more. If you want to carry additional guns, tools, cleaning supplies, and whatever, you'll need something like Orive 8's 5.11 bag.

I'm pretty happy with bags and boxes acquired at Wally World

They don't look like "official" gun/range accouterments which is a + in my book. If you can't be stealthy, camouflage yourself.American by BIRTH, Infidel by CHOICE

Re: Handgun range bag recommendations
I guess I need it to hold 2-3 handguns, ammo, ppe, and some accessories. Shoulder carry with strap or backpack. I'm thinking medium size.

Re: Handgun range bag recommendations
I've been using an orange tool box I bought at Home Depot a decade ago.
I wish I had bought a few of them because it's flat on top and would stack easily.
It's of medium-duty construction with a metal latch as opposed to the plastic latch on most of them these days.
The biggest thing to consider with a plastic tool box is the handle - will it support a box full of ammo and gear?
I like using it because I never have to worry about where I set it down. Water? Mud? No problem - everything stays dry and it can be wiped off if it gets dirty.
If you need a "bag", Midway has some decent ones. There are lots of product reviews for them on Youtube.
I have their "AR15 Range Bag" and it's pretty nice for the money. (at least at the sale price anyway)I called to check my ZIP CODE!....DY-NO-MITE!!!

The ones I have have hard bottoms, or solid boxes.
I gots one for .45 ACP and another for .38/357 and another for .22/40/9mm/misc.
And I use another for first aid SHTF stuff.American by BIRTH, Infidel by CHOICE
