Default Mike Pence for Vice President. . What do you think

Now that a new chapter has Started in the Trump VP discussion, I wanted to start a new discussion thread. And I hope I'm not overdoing it on the polls.

I am still learning about Pence and will be looking for more on him as time goes by. One of the big concerns for many on here is where the Republican team stands on the 2nd. Trump has been discussed ad nauseam. But how about Pence?

Here is what I've found so far about his stance on the second.

Governor Pence has been very strong on Second Amendment issues. In 2005, he voted to pass the Protection of Lawful Commerce in Arms Act, which halted lawsuits against firearms manufacturers. Gun-grabbers had sought to hold firearms manufacturers financially responsible for the criminal misuse of firearms, and used the threat of the lawsuits to force through policies that had been rejected by state legislatures and Congress.

    So far so good.

So what do people think of Pence so far? Is he a good pick. Do you feel good that he is a chickenwing caught in Trumps throat away from leading the country?

Why do you think he picked him? Was it to alay the fears of many extreme right wingers and the religious right, maybe get some who would stay at home out to vote for the Trump team?

If you were anti Trump before the pick, does Pence make it more likely that you will vote for him?

I'm still not voting for Trump.

I was voting trump, but Pence has made me decide not too

I was not voting for Trump, but Pence has changed that

I was already voting for Trump Pence makes it easier to vote for him

I was already aboard the Trump train, the VP means nothing

He has a good pro-life record as far as I can tell. I'll do some more reading about him but I'm happy so far.

Everything I researched about Pence is that he's pro 2A and a good choice for us. Received an "A" rating from the NRA. This has made my decision to vote for Trump easier.

The crazy in me, yes i have a lot of crazy, makes me think that this is a ruse, Clinton was waiting for Trump to say who his VP pick is before she named hers, well now see will be under pressure to say who she picked, after she says who is going to be her VP, i half expect Trump to pull a, gottcha, and announce someone else as his pick, but then again, i'm crazy.

Good choice for VP. The tradional role of VP in an election is being the attack dog. Maybe roles are reversed in this election. Clinton is picking a anti gun fanatic for VP.
