What is a NR permit?

NR is an abbreviation for "Non-Resident". People who live in other states who hold a similar carry permit issued by their home state can apply and receive a carry permit from Pennsylvania, for use in Pennsylvania.

BTW, Chester County doesn't issue NR permits. Click on the Counties tab above to see who does.
