Reasonable dumpster company
Hey all, I'm replacing a roof up in mount pocono and I've called about 5 dumpster places, all of them seem to be middle men and all want 500 bucks for a 10 yarder with an extra 85 per ton over one ton. Around me its 350 for a 10, and you get 2 tons before they charge you more.
anybody know of a decent dumpster company in the area?

Re: Reasonable dumpster company
Instead of a dumpster, consider renting a dump trailer and make multiple trips to the dump, This method works good if the dump is not too far away. Do one side or area of the roof, then dump, repeat as needed. Don't forget to recycle the aluminum at a scrap yard, not sure what current pricing is though.
The bagster is another option if they offer pickup in your area.

The most reasonable place I found in NEPA for Dumpster service is Ellsworth Disposal. They mostly handle stuff in the valley but they might go out that far. I never rented a small one from them though, usually get a 30 yd.

Re: Reasonable dumpster company
Thanks for the all the suggestions guys, we never really use the bagsters because most of the time it's demolition debris which is more volume than weight so bagsters aren't usually on my radar. I think 2 would work, but now the home owner is saying they might want to take this opportunity to get rid of "some stuff" we're going to touch base with them and see what they had in mind.
As far as a dump trailer, most places require a 1 ton with a brake controller to tow a dump trailer. I've towed one with my ram 1500 before with a borrowed brake controller and she pulled it easily. My dads f-250 is and old dog that's weakest point is the trans so we can't really tow with it... I'm currently in the market for a diesel, and a dump trailer for that matter.
Orlov I'll have to give them a call today and see if they come out that far!
Thanks!
