Re: FANTASTIC VIDEO RELEASED FROM THE NRA
Here is another good video they just put out. Unlike its being portrayed in the media the NRA is FOR "no fly,no Buy" proposals........as long as there is due process for appealing and violators get ARRESTED. Why wouldn't the Dems support that (you don't have to answer)

Re: FANTASTIC VIDEO RELEASED FROM THE NRA
Democrats *are* supporting No-fly, No-buy, as just another way to restrict gun ownership.
Sorry to disagree but I don’t think that “No-fly, No-buy” (or even worse, use of the “Terrorist Watch List”) is something I like to see NRA promoting.
There are over 100,000 names on the No-fly list http://www.no-fly-list.com/ and probably 800,000 on the “Watch List”. Most are not US citizens but many are. Why they’re there isn’t obvious, since most of the “evidence” is redacted and seems to reflect some pretty vague metrics, such as “aberrant behavior ranges”.
If you were to find your name on the No-fly list, there’s no way of knowing how your name got there and no clear or timely due-process mechanism to have it removed. (It took Sen. Ted Kennedy six months to have his name removed from the list).
Even if a removal process is developed, it’s likely that much of the government’s evidence would be redacted or withheld in the name of “national security”, making your attempt to prove your innocence extremely difficult and expensive to pursue. Meanwhile, you’d have no constitutional right to own or purchase firearms and it might take years and lots of up-front costs to get your due-process, even if you prevail and are eventually made whole.
The bottom line is that these lists are merely allegations. If there were real probable cause, those named should be arrested and charged. Otherwise, as US citizens, they should be innocent until proven guilty.
