Re: NY Daily News reporter goes to Double Tap.......Ugh.
The recoil bruised my shoulder. The brass shell casings disoriented me as they flew past my face. The smell of sulfur and destruction made me sick. The explosions — loud like a bomb — gave me a temporary case of PTSD. For at least an hour after firing the gun just a few times, I was anxious and irritable.
I was anxious and irritable.

The big bad 5.56. Had I known it was powerful, I'd replace my 06 for bear hunting
My daughters have been shooting a 9mm since they were 4

Was gonna post that but I came late to the party.
I let my dad shoot mine a few years back and he said, "Fuck that, you can keep that thing!"
He's old, but he's still a manly man. I actually enjoy shooting it. It's super light but feels solid, and it kicks like a horse. Something about it just feels right. Wish I got more Nazi ammo when it was cheap. About half of it is one year older than Pops.

Frank's double tap come out for full background checks on all sales
From FOAC siteUnbelievable but true! Frank Stelmach of Philadelphia's Double Tap Shooting Range wants to make New Jersey's draconian gun laws look utopian.“There should be expanded background checks — extending into your family, friends and associates,” he said. “And there should be a mental health screening. In Europe, if you want to buy a gun, you have to see a doctor (for a psychiatric examination) to see if something’s not right.”"Stelmach, who opened his shop six years ago after a career in law enforcement in Europe, even calls for government officials to take away guns from some owners — something very few gun advocates support."Read more about him in the anti-gun propaganda hit piece below then let him know how you feel. And don't forget to share!http://www.nydailynews.com/news/crim...icle-1.2673201
