Bucks County Pharmacist Shoots and Kills Robber

A shotgun-toting man wearing a Halloween mask was shot and killed Friday by a Bucks County pharmacy owner during an apparent robbery attempt inside the store, police said

Eight Falls Township police officers responded to an alarm at the Pennsbury Pharmacy in New Falls Road just before 10 a.m. and took into custody a man sitting in a stolen van outside, said Lt. Henry Ward.

Inside, police found the masked man dead on the floor, shot numerous times by the pharmacy owner who saw the men in parking lot via security cameras before the would-be robber entered the store, Ward said.

I bet some are already saying if he knew they were out there why didn't he just leave out the back door a d wait for the cops to handle it.

I'm glad he is alright and had the forethought to protect himself as well as his employees.

I could walk to the pharmacy, which opened about a half year ago. This morning, a would-be robber using shotgun, pharmacist shot him multiple times, killing him. Nitwit accomplice seated in vehicle outside never knew the shooting occurred and was sitting pretty for arriving police.
