Bucks County Pharmacist Shoots and Kills Robber

Was on noon news. Have fun picking it apart. I'm just posting because it's a great example to antis how being armed makes a difference, and a little disconcerting to be so close to us.

LEVITTOWN, Pa. (WPVI) -- Police say a man is dead after an attempted robbery in a Levittown, Bucks County pharmacy.

It happened Friday morning at the Pennsbury Pharmacy on New Falls Road.

Police say the armed man got out of the passenger's seat of a minivan and headed into the store, but the owner was ready.



"He has a good camera system, so he actually saw the subject come into the store with the shotgun," said Lt. Henry Ward of Falls Twp. Police. "He was prepared for the armed intruder."

Investigators say the owner fired nearly a dozen shots at the armed man, striking him numerous times.

Sources say it appears the robbers intended to clear out the pharmacy. The dead man had zip ties by his body, so it appears he was going to tie up the pharmacy owner.

The other suspect remained in the minivan, and was unaware of the shooting.

When police descended on the pharmacy, he was still in the vehicle. He is now in custody.

There were no other employees or customers in the store at the time.

The names of those involved have not been released.

This morning, a would-be robber using shotgun, pharmacist shot him multiple times, killing him. Nitwit accomplice seated in vehicle outside never knew the shooting occurred and was sitting pretty for arriving police.

Shame someone had to die. Let's hope that the decedent's life serves as an example to others - bring violence, get violence. I think Jesus put it somewhat the same, "Live by the sword, perish by the sword".
