Had a random group shoot today.

Well, the whole family went to the Wexford SGL range today and when we walked down to the pistol range sure enough, fellow POOFA members w1cked and 1861(I think I got the numbers right) were there. With the whole family, the two other members, and the "range buddies" I met it was a crowded affair to say the least, but it was a hell of a good time. The guy I was shooting next to asked where I got the fiber optic sights on the XD and when I told him I got them from a member here he said "Oh. I read that website all the time, I just don't post anything."

So it was a totally random group shoot today. Sam (w1cked) is a hell of a nice guy, and 1861 (I think I got that right) helped my cousin with her grip and eye dominance and made her far more dangerous with a handgun

It was a hell of a good day. Hope to see you all at the range someday. I'm going to have to wear my shirt every time.

Sounds like a great time. I need to work on the eye thing. Mrs. PA is left hand and right eye dominant. Little gorilla is right hand and left eye dominant. I need to get to the range.

4.5 to 5 hour drive from the western edge of Philly area.

I've made the trip 3 times.

Best bet is to go to the main group shoots, second Sunday of each month.

Most fun with firearms I've ever had. When I go I leave on Saturday and spend the night in a nearby hotel so I'm fresh for the shoot and long ride home.

The PMSC is where the shoots are held and it's in the North Versailles, Pa./Monroeville, Pa. area.

I think as membership of this site grows, you will see more people meeting up to shoot. Some will just all happen to be at a range at the same time.

Helluva good time! Nice meeting everyone, and good times shooting. Loved that M-44 and the XD-9 Should meet again sometime soon.
