Default hummm I had a potentialy serious issue with my beloved CBOB...

    AS title says.

Gun is shooting GREAT. Tac driver almost. Feed everything I gave it, and it even feed empties! If it can feed empties, i mean it'll feed ANYTHING.

But my issue I had today is potentialy serious one.

As I was shooting, bang, bang, bang, and suddenly nothing. trigger wouldn't move.
I was like "WTF?". Puzzled, I inspected the weapon
Upon inspection, I've noticed that safety lever walked upword enough to put safety on.

You can see that safety is walked upword. Just enough to engage safety.
Push the safety lever down just hair, it shoots. Bang, bang, bang, then does it again.
This happened more then few occasions once every few rounds.

In comparason, below is how it should be..

I'm not sure if it because plunger spring is not strong enough for safety plunger to hold safety lever in place during shooting, or safet is not fitted right.
My safety lever does have some verticle play in it. I can see that by wiggling safety lever when hammar is at rest spot. Would this mean my safety is not fitted right?

    Any input will be appriciated....

Are you sure your thumb isn't moving up on it when you're shooting. Or your hand grasp isn't moving as you shoot?

I thought about that. But I grip this gun same was as how I gripped every 1911 I've ever owned/shot, and I never had an issue.
But that could very well be, as safety lever on this CBOB is smooth as batta...

There is either an issue with the detent recess in the safety or your grip is pushing the safety up.

Hard to tell without seeing your grip or the gun

I think you may have the answer.
Hard to see, but look at pic below..

With safety off, can you see where the plunger head(detent, whatever you call it) is at? Its on the halfway point of flatter slop of elongated recess
    See pic below..

I try to express the shape with red line. Detent is pushing on where "X" is.
    halfway point.
    How do I fix that?!

Just hone out the bottom of the detent a bit......

....or use a high hand grip.

    Hone

I think he means using a fine tool to round out the detent.

I mean slightly deepen the bottom of the recess so the detent pin will lock in harder.
