    Default IWLA York Chapter #67

Is anyone a member here? I just noticed that the club was very close to me and would look like a great thing for me, my son, and wife but had some questions.

Wow makes me feel good to be in the same area as you were. We're all proud of you just to let you know!

As for the club. How do we become members? I see theres a place for a "sponser" for current members to sign for you. Unfortunitly I don't know anybody there.

I would really love to have somewhere for my growing family to have fun and enjoy ourselves.

Any info you can give us would be greatly appretiated!

I just became a member there. It is really easy. You just come to one of there open meetings. The meetings are on the third Tuesday of every month (tomorrow 8/19). You fill out an application and pay your dues and initiation fee. Someone at the meeting will sign for you. You'll have to wait until the next months meeting to be voted in as an official member.

You can bring your wife and son to the meeting. Meeting is tuesday night at 7PM. I'm not sure how guests work, I'm a new member myself.

If your son is under 18, he can become a member of the junior chapter for $5 a year. Great program with lots of stuff for the kids to do. Just found out about it myself, shot a video story down there a couple weeks ago. Check it out here:

I'm not a member yet, but will be soon along with all three of my kids.

Swung by today and picked up a membership application. For me and the wife it will be $162 for the rest of 08 and all of 09. Checked out the ranges and they are well maintained and very nice. The "tactical pit" will rock for what I am into. Some folks seemed interested about me doing some course there. Can't wait to get all signed up. Nice to have somewhere close to shoot.
