I know we hate Toomey. I wrote in 2A yesterday also. However, this woman is a Hillary clone, and will push to delete our gun rights.
    I generally vote straight republican.

The down ticket will benefit. Toomey has the power of incumbency anyway and as we all know he's already tacking to the center as necessary to maintain his seat in this purple state. Unless the voting is strictly along genital lines, then of course, we're screwed.
That's just not true. Gun owners will stay home again and we'll be saddled with fighting another communist Senator and President. You'd think they would learn the lesson from two terms of zerobama but you can't put a price on nor convince people to protect freedom when freedom no longer matters to them.

It's not that freedom no longer matters to them, it's that it's getting harder to convince people that voting is a means of actually getting more freedom when they've seen for the last 20 years or so that it has only gotten them less no matter which way they vote. Less taxes? Fewer laws and less government intrusion? Voted for that and what did we get but more national debt, more taxes, Obamacare, more PC, more police state, etc. People will only be patient so long and only tolerate being lied to so many times. As we've pointed out here over and over, this election cycle and the last one should have been a cake walk to put the Left on trial for all their lies, screwups, failures, and police state/nanny state, but the GOP keeps screwing the pooch over and over and over again, leading by bending over and all that reach across the aisle BS and "conservative record" and other nonsense platitudes instead of REAL, HONEST, IMMEDIATE RESULTS and big name leftist power players' skulls mounted over the fireplace.

Think about that. How many real powerful anti gun, anti US, pro PC, CA/NYC leftist core beltway figures have been removed from power in the last 20-30 years at the peak of their power? How many BIG laws have we gotten that the other side really would say "OH NO, SH** NO! NOT THAT!" that would be equally dreadful to them as for example the NFA and GCA are to us? Nearly zero. Contrast that to the names of Newt Gingrich, Trent Lott, Dick Armey, Tom DeLay, etc. who actually made real movement against the status quo and not only were attacked by the Marxist Left, but apparently abandoned by our own. Consider how much atrocity has been enacted in destroying financial freedom and tearing down limits on government. How in the heck can our own would-be voters be persuaded to get in the fight for our side when those supposedly on our side who have considerable power won't even fight for us? How do you expect any crowd to cheer for a team that doesn't want to win and even scores points for the other team half the time?

Contrast how different it would be to see a picture of real winning. Consider reading tomorrow a headline that a repeal of the 86 ban had been vetoed but overridden, so new MG's for sale to you and me for the first time since 1986. Consider what it would be like to read that not only was Hillary Clinton convicted of crimes we know of today, but actually convicted of a murder or two from the 90's and sentenced to die for it, and that actually carried out. Visualize for a minute reading of the national debt being paid down by a trillion dollars--NO additional debt being added that year but instead PAID DOWN. Think of what it would feel like to read the news that the TSA was officially disbanded, that airports go back to being privately run pre-9/11 so no blue gloves, shoes and belts off, etc. and actually see that the next time you fly. Imagine seeing the estate tax permanently repealed and the capital gains tax repealed. And New Jersey's federal highway funding withheld until it recognizes all out of state carry licenses and LE actually arrested for violating that recognition. Consider seeing new nuclear power plants being built, and old coal fired plants reopening, and right to work enacted in PA, NY, and other Rust Belt areas. Full opt out and/or private account options on Social Security.

The distance between that picture and what we see today is why you don't see enthusiastic voting on our side. That any of such is considered a laughable dream rather than 50-90% certainty of reality this very day tomorrow is why I and so many millions of others are as angry as we are, and undoubtedly why we don't vote much. All we've gotten so far since 2004 or so really is a token pat on the head when our side supposedly won, promptly followed by being told to shut up because we've got to "compromise" and "reach across the aisle" and be "compassionate" and "realistic". The psycho fruitcakes are given what they want which IS patently ridiculous--transgender bathrooms, driver's licenses and free tuition for illegal immigrants, no mention of God or reading of the Bible in schools, NSA/CIA/FBI can listen to all your phone calls and read all your emails, kids can get kicked out of school for punching a bully in the nose to get them to stop beating on them, public funding of stupid people having kids they have no plan of affording, racial/gender/orientation preferential treatment-- but us asking for what we want basically gets us told to go screw ourselves or laughed at like we're wearing out clothes inside out and banana peels on our heads. We're told that our America doesn't exist anymore. You want to have people not sit at home on election day? Then make it something there's actually a chance of a real win, winning our America back and not thanks for voting for us now shut up and sit down.
