Firearm conspiracy theory.........
"X-Files theme music"
-Why all manufacture recommend on ammo vs another. Can it be the they have a secret contract to promote that ammo? I know some manufacture strongly warn against wolf ammo yet its many can testify that the shoot them all day without an issue.
-Recommending 400-800rds for break in periods? go with the ammo conspiracy theory
-Do manufacture have guys gun smith on payroll to join forum and give post negatives info and rival companys. ( keltec vs ruger, glock vs xd, etc...)

Re: Firearm conspiracy theory.........
In all honesty I think its because the gun manufacturers know that you won't use their ammo that is suggested so they expect when you call they can go "well did you use the suggested ammo that runs .50 - 1.00 / round?" and you say no then they can say go try it
The first vehicles normally on the scene of a crime are ambulances and police cruisers. If you are armed you have a chance to decide who gets transported in which vehicle, if you are not armed then that decision is made for you.
Be prepared, because someone else already is and no one knows their intent except them.

Re: Firearm conspiracy theory.........
Being a little more than cynical, the reason I can think of for "No Wolf Ammo" at a shooting class is the range/instructor looses out on selling or scrapping the once fired brass. While it is possible to reload steel cased ammo not all Wolf is Boxer primed making it useless for resale.

Re: Firearm conspiracy theory.........
For what it is worth, I have never purchased a firearm that indicated the use/non-use of specific ammunition. Also, Kel-Tec and Ruger don't belong in the same sentence.

Re: Firearm conspiracy theory.........
I've never seen a break-in recomendation over 250 rounds.
No Wolf probably because it's dirty, not to mention steel cased and has issues in some guns. As far as instructors advising against it...well, it does smell like asshole."Because I'm an American." - MtnJack

No, wolf is just plain nasty dirty crap!
I'd rather shoot 1000 blanks out of an AR, than ONE round of wolf. This space open for sponsorship
