Ltcf revoked what do i do

I just got off the phone with a firearms lawyer hes going to go to court with me and try and get my ltcf back so hopefully it the cops arrested me for no reason and got my permit taken so now i just have to go to court and listen to what my lawyer advises me

Might be something to learn as this progresses if we don't run the guy off with insults.

Maybe, just maybe, he did get caught up in the situation and the cops grabbed everyone. Let the court deal with them all. Maybe the cop doesn't like citizens carrying like some deputies at the courthouse and figured "one down"..

I'd like to hear how something like this plays out and is resolved. What the lawyer does etc

I'd start with using better judgement

I'd say drink to that, but that seems to be how this whole thing started.

and perhaps think about hitting a meeting, or two.

I'd try and make some changes so that you are no longer labeled as a 'habitual drunkard'. I'm hoping if you realized that guns and booze don't mix and are making serious lifestyle changes that the judge may grant that lee-way.

The OP stated he was arrested for D&D but as we just learned in another thread, the Police aren't in the habit of testing for drunkenness at clubs.

I can't say for sure, but maybe he was the designated driver or the like, and was truly trying to help his rowdy friends.

In any case, this could happen to anyone caught in the wrong place at the wrong time. (well, unless you don't go out to places where there are people and alcohol)

I'm going with Mitch on this one and hang in to see what happens next.

While all of this is possible, it is not probable.

I'd like to hear the other side of the story. From experience, the one person in the group of drunks who say they were the voice of reason and were trying to help calm the situation down, usually are part of the problem. Nothing like a drunk, street corner lawyer.

Anyway, a good (sober) lawyer, is the best advice at this time.
