Default Contacting someone whose inbox is full

    Greetings:

There is a fellow member that I have been attempting to contact via PM but I cannot as his inbox is full.

I think he may not be aware of his inbox being full.

Is there any other easy way to contact someone through the forum or perhaps have an administrator intervene somehow?

    Thanks!

For some reason I thought there used to be a way to email another member, but the can't find it now. You could always rep them and leave a rep comment to empty their inbox or to contact you. Another option would be to quote one of their posts in a thread and do the same. Depending on how their setup, they might get email alerts when someone replies to one of their posts.

every once in a while a new thread titled " XXXYYY please clean out your inbox! " appears on various forums. Check their profile to see if you can send them email.

My inbox has been full a few times when I lose track of space. I get emails when someone sends me a message as well as when my inbox is full and it will say who is trying to get a hold of me.

My first thought is to check to see if he is set up to receive email, (Click on his user name in any post he's made to see if that option is available). IF not, find a post of his and leave a reply that you are trying to get in touch with him and ask him to please contact you and/or clear out some space in his PM inbox. You could start a thread asking him to contact you, but I don't know where that would be appropriate to put, and he might not see it. I've established contact with a few members here whom I anticipated having ongoing communication, (and on other forums), by exchanging email addresses and phone numbers, but you have to be able to contact them through the forum via PM or email to communicate that information. (Unless you happen to know their name and location, in which case 411.com can be beneficial).

My inbox is perpetually empty. I feel like a total loser, sniff sniff.

Don't feel left out, be glad that you don't have that to keep track of too.

POSITIVE REP him and in comments let him know his INBOX is full.

Check when the person checked in last. Click username and click on view profile. Perhaps the person only checks in rarely and has not recently.

You can also just "out" the person in this thread or start another using the username in the subject line.
