Default New addition to the family

Been looking for one for a little while, finally found a deal I couldn't pass up.

    Taurus PT1911

Took it home and immediately put a box through it. The "straight 8's" are a little weird, but I love the way it shoots.

hmmmm, I like it. I'm not much of a pistol guy but I would like a 1911.

Congrats. That is a fine looking firearm there. I like the PT 1911.
I think my next handgun is going to be a 1911, because I have been wanting one for a while (and no collection is complete without one). I am thinking either a Taurus or a Springfield.

I would like to get a plain Jane Springfield GI, (closest I'll ever get to a true 1920's GI) but I'd still never get rid of my PT1911!

Thanks guys. I agree on everybody owning a 1911. I really like the Dan Wesson Bobtails, and the dealer had several very nice Springfield's, but they were all out of my price range.
