UNION TWP., Pa. - Almost four years after being scorched by the largest forest fire in Pennsylvania history, another blaze is burning out of control at French Creek State Park in Berks County. Crews on the ground and in a helicopter above are waging a battle against the blaze, which is burning near Sycamore Road in Union Township. Reports from the scene are that firefighters are having trouble reaching the fire scene on the ground.

Nearly 750 acres of land at French Creek burned in April 2012. Crews worked several days to control the fire.
