Sounds awesome! Reality? Not so much. Didn't you just go with your kid to get permission to carry at which time he answered questions? Ever buy a gun from a gun shop and undergo a background check?

Great plan guys, we'll just let a liberal walk into the office.
Without a challenger to Toomey, we still have the duty to keep the liberal Democrat out of the office, even if it means having a mediocre Republican for another term.

Re: Pat Toomey Running Pro-Gun Control Ads as Part of Re-Election Effort
I understand, but sadly that's a reality but the point is we're heading in a positive direction and it will take time. There's 10 Constitutional carry states and more to come whereas 10 years ago there was 1. For the time being this is what we have and we have to be vigilant in "taking the government" back to its foundings. More and more people are getting into guns and arms/protection and this is due to the constant barrage of gun owners discussing this with people around us....we too can never let a crisis go to waste, per se'. Next we start talking tanks, cannons, fully automatic weapons, grenade launchers, etc. Little by little as it will take time to repair the damage---

While this may be true it has nothing to do with your quoted text. Point is that those looking for 100% purity from Toomey or any other is a unrealistic fool. And just posting absolutes online does nothing, especially when none of us even comes close to living up to the use unrealistic absolutes.

Re: Pat Toomey Running Pro-Gun Control Ads as Part of Re-Election Effort
I’m not a big fan of Toomey, but he is the only choice. If you are planning on not voting or voting third party think of what would happen if the democrats regained control of the senate along with a Hillary win. If that scenario occurs it is likely that the UN small Arms treaty will be re- introduced for ratification by the senate. It’s unknown what kind of damage Hillary can do if that gets ratified. Also Obama’s pick for the Supreme Court is only the tip of the iceberg. There are going to be others currently on the Supreme Court that will be replaced during the next couple of years. Do you really want a democratic controlled senate voting on confirmation of Hillary’s replacements?
