Deer Removal
Hey Guys,
A deer just collapsed and died in my yard. I'm not a hunter and don't have a truck. I'd rather not bag the deer and put it in a dumpster. Does anyone know someone who might want it, I'm sure it can be used at least for the hide. Not sure someone wants the meat, as it just collapsed but if they do that's fine too. Let me know what you all think, I'm in the Penn Hills/ Churchill Area. Trash day isn't until Wednesday so I don't want to leave her sit until then. Thanks.

Re: Deer Removal
Sucks that it's Sunday. You may not get any action until tomorrow.
I have a lawn client in Penn Hills who discovered a dead deer in her lawn. She called the municipality and they told her to put it at the curb and they would send someone to pick it up.
Her: "You're telling me you want me... a 98 pound woman, to drag a dead deer carcass up a hill, from my back yard to the curb???"
Them: "Ummm... OK, we'll have them go get it."
LOL!
Aside from all that, I don't know you're legally allowed to "keep" a deer like that.I called to check my ZIP CODE!....DY-NO-MITE!!!

AR: Haven't been able to get a hold of one, so I called the Municipality and they said they can't do anything.
EMPTY: Yeah thats what they told me, I told them I'm not going to sit a deer out on the curb until WEDNESDAY when the trash pickup occurs. Then they proceed to tell me, "just leave it in your yard until Tuesday night, it should be cold enough not to stink...."

Did you try the public works department?
I'd call 911 and tell them there's a dead body in my back yard.
That will get some action.I called to check my ZIP CODE!....DY-NO-MITE!!!

CYCLOPS: I wasn't serious about the dumpster move... lol
AR: Just got a hold of someone, they told me to schedule a pickup with the local environmental services. They don't open until the morning.
EMPTY: Exactly, looks like I'm going to have to wait it out.
STREAKER: You may be on to something...HAHA
