No. Not yet. I've mainly been spending my time shopping online to buy more magazines and other things I tell myself i'm going to need. I've also been watching a lot of You Tube videos on shooting.

I'd like to find a range that offers 1 on 1 lessons since I'm a complete novice.

Welcome. You are starting out with the correct frame of mind. Always be safe, and you are apparently going to do that.

Hi everyone. I am new to the forum here.
I am back in PA after living in MD for 20 years. I was a member of Monumental Rifle and Pistol club. I miss that range.
I am Life Member NRA, ATF C&R, and have been approved for Lehigh County license to carry firearm.
I still have to visit the courthouse for the picture and pick up the license when we are in a safer coronavirus protocol.
I am looking for a good gunshop and range. I sent Golden Trigger an email and they have not replied.
I will be building a house in Emmaus shortly.
Thanks for any good info.

Welcome to PAFOA, chetpi, a great place for info and entertainment too. There is a gun shop in Emmaus but I haven't been there. Others from the Lehigh valley should be able to help you out.

Golden Trigger is OK, but quirky. (Some might not agree) Good for reloading supplies. Their web site, says to call for hours. Extreme Gun Works is just a couple blocks away and likewise has mixed reviews. Check them out for yourself to see how they work or don't with you. There are a good number of other gun shops in the area, depending on what your interests are.

Hi, I live in New Jersey (and your profound sympathy on that point is both assumed and appreciated).

Like so many of my oppressed brethren, PA is part of my exit strategy (looking at Bucks & Montgomery - something not terribly far from family & friends - and hopefully happening within months and not years). I already have one range membership in PA. At the very least, when I finally move, I'll be 1 more pro-2A person to build your ranks! I figured I'd join now to get a jump on the learning curve re: laws, political scene, etc. I'm looking forward to learning and participating!

Hello to All -

My wife and I just moved here from the "People's Soviet Socialist Republic of New Jersey" in the hope of better enjoying civil freedoms. However, I offer a warning that unless the good citizens of Pennsylvania are careful, you too can fall into the pit with my former fellow "Jersey-ans".

In any event, I look forward to joining and participating where I can.

While extremely difficult to shoot in NJ, I''m now are there are some 10 local ranges that I will be checking out around my area. I hope I can meet up with some of you in the not-too-distant future.
