I’m not new here although it’s been several years since I’ve posted. Life and some health issues got the way, but now that I am getting better and younger, and after being prompted I thought I would stop and say hello :-) That said, politics is a horror show. I have read some good posts and I’m pleased to hear people standing up and having a voice. The Anti-gun gang wants to take away our Rights to own and carry. The same crew wants to defund police. We need and should all support law enforcers. The anti-America crew wants to destroy us and make us a socialist poverty stricken desert of starving people that cannot protect themselves and families. Cannot let that happen!

Im Brian from Hillsborough, NJ. I enjoying shooting targets, I'm not a hunter due to the fact If im not going to eat it why kill it....lol I love to fish. I love the out doors. I'm a family man and life long skilled laborer. I used to own a water well drilling and service company.

I'm back in Lehigh County semi-recently, grew up here but was away for a while while in the Navy (spent most of that time home ported in Norfolk VA which I would not recommend to anyone).

I almost exclusively collect and shoot military surplus and (like I'm sure everyone who does) I wish I'd started 10 or 20 years ago. Considering getting an FFL-02 as I do a fair amount of buying/selling/trading C&R pieces. Armslist changing to a paid model and gun shows becoming (even more of) a total crapshoot has been a real bummer.

There are no really good gun shops in the area - Golden Trigger and Extreme Gun Works both were terribly overpriced and mediocre even before this year's inflation. Eagle Arms in Breinigsville is my usual go-to, especially if looking for more obscure ammo types he usually has a pretty wide selection. If you just need an FFL for transfer, Tim from TDR Tactical in Macungie is excellent, extremely reasonable pricing ($15 flat) and he's doing curbside by appointment now - I have used him to receive online purchases and for person-to-person transfers before.

I do most of my shooting at the State Game Lands range in New Tripoli, which is generally fairly quiet and clean although it only has two 50yd berms so you may have to wait in line if you don't want a 100yd bench. It's rifle only with a shotgun range nearby. All the usual disclaimers about public ranges and the type of people you'll run into there apply, of course.
