Picked up a few new goodies for my ar, maybe one of you will take pitty on me and help me figure out how to run a sling on it.

I don't know much about slings to be honest, but I've been researching.

I bought a Gear Sector 2-point recently and I really like the construction and sling material. It's thick, but not too wide, and it's "soft" and flexible right out of the box. It comes with basic "sling" ends that you feed through and secure in the standard manner, but they offer optional ends (ends are removed by buckle release) with different things like HK hooks or QD points.

I ordered a Sheriff of Baghdad sling based on it's simplicity.
I like the way it works, but I'm not happy with the super-thin, cheesy-feeling sling material.

Last night I ordered a Frank Proctor sling. (thorough review here)
I was growing weary of trying to figure out what sling to get and what attachments I needed for various rifles.
The Proctor can be used without mounting points so it's suited for any of my rifles.
Found one on Ebay for $20 shipped (new) so I'll have it soon to try out.
I can bring all to the shoot.

I've been looking at the wotg sling and like it but I was just given a USMC sling from a buddy of mine who's a retired Marine. And being the cheap bastard I am I was planning to use that one if possible, plus it would be cool to use something that a buddy gave me. My ar has the magpul moe carbine stock on it, I think, and planned to use that as a mounting point and pick up a rail mount system for the railed upper. Just not sure how to mount this, maybe paracord loops. Not sure if it would work.

Also looking for a nice case to fit my ak and ar in, with the new grip pod I have, they don't both fit in the case anymore

Well normally I work every Saturday but I actually have a family thing that afternoon so
I may be able to make it for the 1st time since the October 2014 shoot!
If I do, I have no idea what I'll bring; I'll know closer to the date weather of not I am going.
