Re: Oaks Extravaganza 4/01/16-4/03/16
Thanks for the kind words guys. In my opinion if you could get it cheaper online why would you come to a show in the first place. So I try to compete with online prices. But that is also why I don't sell certain things (if I can't make a profit, why bother) like Magpul PRS stocks.
A few other dealers were mad about my prices but they are fair prices. And I sold out of lowers by Sat evening and sold out of uppers by Sat night. But I only brought about 40 lowers with me.
I too think 12 dollars was kinda steep for a show but I have no idea what it really costs the promoter in the end. It was nice to see powder back but I don't usually get to walk around at all.
I will be at the philly armory this weekend if anyone else needs lowers and parts.

Re: Oaks Extravaganza 4/01/16-4/03/16
Visited the Oaks show for the 3rd time. I am a cheap bastard, so I definitely shop price. Got my better half a Glock 26 Gen 4 (NIB) for less than many dealers and show venders were selling Gen 3's. Just gotta shop before you buy and remember where the table is. Better half got me a great deal on a NIB Springfield 1911 Range Officer 9mm. Been looking for a while but didn't like the $825 plus prices. Got for well under $800. 2000 rounds of 9mm 115 gr for less than $450. (Remington and Winchester not the import stuff)
