    Default A2 Grip Transformation

I make no secret that I love grip tape and I hate A2 pistol grips. I got bored this past week, bought a couple of A2 grips and modified them. I dig the profile of the grip and that they're cheap but I hate the indexing point on the front and the USELESS vertical serrations on the back. The first one I did, I sawed the indexing point off, filed it down smooth, covered the front with grip tape and then put grip tape on the backstrap. This most recent grip got an extreme makeover. I used a steel file to flatten the grip texture on the sides, remove the indexing point and then covered the entire thing in grip tape. This was a major pain in the dick to properly measure and cut. I cut some filler pieces to fill gaps and make up for mistakes. I think it looks good but it feels outstanding. It's like a $5 Hogue grip with the added satisfaction of doing it myself. Grip tape. I put that shit on everything.

Solid work. I just can't work my mojo with the A2 angle.
