See my post above yours. Try the LMT BCG. Sounds like your losing pressure (e.g. a gas leak).

I'd switch back to the regular buffer, switching unecessarily to an H buffer can cause short stroking due to the increased mass. Also I would clean your chamber, go over it with a GI chamber brush and a good solvent for a few minutes and always make sure your chamber is clean and most importantly DRY when you shoot. If you have replaced the BGC and ensured the gas key is secure and properly staked and upgraded to Magpul mags and are still having problems I'd say that a gummed up chamber could also be contributing to your problems.

Exclamation Re: Problems With My AR

What kind of AMMO are you using? Some lower-power ammo will not have the power to cleanly cycle. For a brand new rifle, you shouldn't have that many problems I think......

He said in his initial post he's using Remington 55gr. Since he has a rifle from BM who does not drill their gas ports to spec, they drill them oversized so as to prevent problems with short stroking with lower powered commercial ammunition. My money says that once he switches back to the std buffer and checks to make sure that his buffer spring is within spec he should be GTG at this point.

After a year, I wonder if he figured it out.
