    Default Going to Knobels this week?

    Plan on going to knobels and wanted to know if CC would be a problem?
    Also if anyone knows of a good restaurant close by?

    CC wont be a problem as long as they dont see it. They do not allow firearms in the park (or at least they didnt 3-4 years ago). If you have a deep conceal weapon, it wont be a problem. Most people dont look for CC weapons there, they are there to have a good time and ride the rides.

    As for restaurants, what kind are you looking for? Anything in particular?

    I CC there... I heard they have no firearms signs, but I haven't seen them and I've been there several times this year...

    I did not have anything in particular in mind, maybe basic restaurants, steak,ribs,chicken and kid friendly.

    They`re in the middle of nowhere. Eat there. For park food it`s not bad and even the prices aren`t bad.

    I just camped at Knoebels about two weeks ago and did not see any signs about firearms....... there was plenty of good eats in the food courts of that park. gotta say we had a really good time there and be sure to ride the Phoenix roller coaster.

    Give Roadarmel's Chicken and Ribs a call - they are in Elysburg, just two or three miles from the park - 570/672-3181. No really good steak places around. There is an Original Italian Pizza in Elysburg as well.
    Also, as someone mentioned above, the food in the park is good. Fairly inexpensive compared to other amusement parks as well.

    Also - are you going on a weekend or a weekday? (I may have some sagelike advice for you....)
