An Asian American cop who accidently discharged his Glock 19 in one of the worse housing projects of Brooklyn faces 15 years. He was convicted yesterday by a jury. Some people say he was convicted because of the recent police shootings and the "black lives matter", crowd. What do you think of this? should he serve the full 15 years, less, any time at all?
Interesting that you failed to mention that he killed somebody. Then instead of rendering aid or requesting an ambulance, he started working to cover up what he had done.

    Let's review.

He has his gun in his hand.
Was not in a street but in the hallways of people's homes. Even if most of those people are scum.

He hand his finger on the trigger
    He pulled the trigger.
    Doesn't nypd have like a 12 or 15 # trigger pull?

Yea. Rookies get he shit jobs. That is life. Given that he operates with the full power of the State protecting him, his sentence is light.

NYPD currently mandates Glocks to have the NY2 trigger spring with the stock connector. Trigger weight with that setup is over 11lbs. http://www.gundigest.com/tactical-ge...w-york-trigger

Geez. What can you hit with a 12 lb pull? Might as well carry an M1895 Nagant, fired DAO.
