Maximum expansion with limited penetration. Reminds me of HBWC handgun rounds I tried seating the wadcutter upside down. Some claim to have had good results but with my limited experiments with wet books I didn't see it.
Somewhere I heard of filling the hollow base with some fast powder and a primer, hmm, may be the start of a new defensive ammo company.
