10 AM Beer drinking at the Leesport Gun show......

Today I decided to roll out of bed today and hit the Leesport gun show. While walking around I saw a single table selling car magnets. The Man behind the table said he was raising money for homeless Veterans. While I am digging in my pocket for a few buck I smell a strong odor of alcohol. I toss a few bucks into the ammo can that he has open for the collection. Then I though I hope this guy isn't a scammer. He says thanks and I begin to walk away.

Then I hear a can pop. I look down and see a Female vendor (not with the Guy I was speaking too) placing a can of Beer into a foam can holder. I saw it was Milwaukee's best. I was less than happy and walked away from her. Then I get to the end of the tables and see another Milwaukee's best can sitting next to some rifles in a rack. A Male vendor then picked it up and spit into the can. This vendor was selling guns and they were clearly together. They also had a small boy with them under the age of ten.

At this point I decided it was time to leave. I walked out the door and never said a word to anyone about the Beer drinking. I don't have a problem with Beer drinking, however at a Gun show I do, furthermore we all know guns and alcohol don't mix.

What would you guys have done?

Yeah that's kind of weird. Especially having to drive home with your kid, unless the other half wasnt drinking.
But none the less, at a gun show?

I'd have to hire someone to help me, otherwise I'd be leaving the table unattended every 30 minutes to go visit the urinal.

It wouldn't bother me. I don't know anything about them. Sure it's a gun show but they're there to sell, there's no shooting going on and there shouldn't be any loaded weapons. I certainly wouldn't leave the show because of it.

It's Leesport, 10am is late in the day for them and beer drinkin'.

Maybe they were bored and needed a little buzz to make the day interesting. You certainly know they aren't drinking Milwaukee's Best crap to impress anyone.

I thought about going but decided to change my headlights since it was nice outside. Shit, I should have gone and had a beer...

I lived in Tulsa for a number of years and went to Wanenmachers every year.
They sold beer at the concession stands starting right when the show opened. Wasn't my thing at 8AM but don't recall it ever being a problem...
